SYNOPSIS
Babette unexpectedly finds herself sharing her small Parisian apartment with Edo, a Congolese refugee. When Maoussi, an escaped lab mouse makes itself known, their lives are turned upside down as they try to navigate cultural misunderstandings and conflicting expectations, about what love and parenthood are supposed to look like in 2023.

Cast
Recipient of the Honorary Mention for Best Principal Actress by The Los Angeles Independent Film Review, she also received the Best Actress award for Slør at the Popoli é Religion Festival in Italy. Through her one-woman shows and performances, she established her own style of social satire and burlesque, which was welcomed by unanimous press in London, Toronto, NYC and Paris.
Moustapha Mbengue is acting opposite Isabelle Huppert in Dans Les gens d'à côté by André Téchiné, soon to premiere. He starred in The Five Devils (Director's Fortnight in Cannes 2022), and played the title role in Amin (Cannes 2018).
She played the title role in Magdala ((Cannes Acid Programme 2022) as well as a supporting role in Goutte d'Or by Clément Cogitore. She is soon to be seen in Nez Rouge by Réda Kateb.
